Custodial Supervisor:

Under general supervision, performs custodial services and supervises other custodial employees to assure county offices and properties are properly maintained on a daily basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sets schedules of employees and assists in cleaning of County owned properties. Examples of duties include: dusting (office furniture, doors, window sills, light fixtures, blinds, etc.), cleaning offices, cleaning floors (tile, wood and carpet), mopping, stripping and waxing floors, trash removal, cleaning restrooms, cleaning walls, cleaning all exterior glass doors and interior office glass (not windows). Training of employees for safety compliance associated with all chemicals and their handling within the scope of the position. Collaboration with maintenance where required for facility upkeep including Entering workorders and requests. Utilizing Workeasy software for the collecting of and approval of employees’ time and attendance. Coaching and development of those being supervised. Any other function required by the Director of Facilities or County Judge/Executive. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or equivalent supplemented by three (3) years of general knowledge of responsible cleaning techniques. County Road Dispatcher & Clerk:

Under general supervision, dispatches for the Jessamine County Road Department, monitors the radio and telephone equipment and performs general office duties including monitoring of gas and diesel usage and time and attendance for the department. CHIEF DUTIES: Answers incoming calls from radio and telephone and relays information as needed. Maintains radio contact with employees in the field. Manage gas usage for all departments through Ekos and utilizing the Gasboy portal. Timeclock. Tracking all Off Road Diesel. Serves as a receptionist for the County Road department. Maintains bi-weekly payroll sheets. Maintains files for all aspects of the Road Department. Any other duties required by the Road Supervisor or the County Judge/Executive. Reports to County Road Supervisor. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduated from an accredited High School or G.E.D. equivalent. Experience in communications and record keeping or any combination of training and experience that produces the desired skills and abilities. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Kentucky drivers license in good standing. SPECIAL KNOWELDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: General Computer Skills especially with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of the geography of the County Road System, Highways and surrounding area. Working knowledge of all applicable laws pertaining to two-way radio transmissions. Deputy Director – Emergency Management:

Under the supervision of the Director of Emergency Management/Homeland Security the employee is involved in the planning, directing and coordination of the activities falling within the responsibilities and duties of the department. The work involves clerical, communications, supervision of subordinate and volunteer personnel as well as assuming a leadership role in emergency operations during crisis and disaster response. Assistant County Treasurer:

Responsible for monitoring various financial transactions, assisting with budgets, preparing financial reports and management of the procurement process. Approves all purchases. Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures. Knowledge of government accounting practices and regulations is preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Supervises the procurement process, Maintains budget and all accounting records in software, Audits all accounts payable, Audits all accounts receivable, Manages the State and Federal Grants for reimbursements, Reconcile all bank accounts excluding Payroll Account, Calculate and remit KY Sales Tax for Fiscal Court, Prepares budget transfers and cash transfers, Assist Auditors during annual audits, Deposits all checks through the remote deposit terminal, Invoicing for the county, Processes all receipts in the finance software system, Additional Duties as required. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Individual must be proficient in all aspects of accounting practices and procurement processes. Working knowledge of state and federal grants are considered a plus. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. (Working knowledge of FiscalSoft financial software a plus.) A background in and/or knowledge of local government accounting operations is preferred. This position requires strong analytical and numerical skills. Ability to manage all financial transactions and oversee procurement processes. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and excellent time management abilities are required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related field. Kennel Tech:

Jessamine County Fiscal Court is in need of a Kennel Tech for the Jessamine County Animal Shelter, and we offer competitive pay and excellent benefits packages. The Kennel Tech is responsible for proper shelter cleaning and maintenance, providing food and water to all animals as scheduled at the shelter, and assisting in the daily operations, including recognizing the need for veterinary care and/or treatment.
